The Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems’ conference Autonomy in the Maritime Domain will take place on Wednesday 11th May, as part of the Indo Pacific 2022 conference at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

The AAUS one-day conference will attract defence, industry and academia personnel from around the world, with the broad focus being on autonomy and uncrewed technologies relevant to future defence programs, particularly within the maritime domain.

The themes for this year’s conference include air, surface and subsurface applications,  research and development technologies, safety and codes of practice in demonstrating autonomous technologies, assur​ance and accreditation, updates from industry and academia, as well as looking at the challenges and opportunities for autonomous systems, plus others detailed on the AAUS website.

The conference will include presentations and interactive panels with the opportunity for audience participation in Q&A sessions.

AAUS will also be hosting an informal networking dinner on the evening of Wednesday 11th May, at a separate venue in Darling Harbour as part of the Autonomy in the Maritime Domain conference.
